I just started turning in March after taking many years off. I have been lurking for a while and now invite critiques and comments

Nice looking pens! Your fit and finish look spot on.

The last pen looks to have been under turned on one side and over turned on the other. Were your bushings swapped?

Those are lovely pens !!! . Please could you identify the kit type and blank. I know some of them, but would like to know the others also, if you don't mind.

If so then he can remove those ends and switch them around. Happened to me and I used a punch set to knock them out. Wasn't easy but it's doable.

Hi Russ - Welcome back!

I thought the same thing as Kelly; and it's an easy fix if so.

And I also agree that they are beautiful in spite of our nit picking!!!

The problem is that I have a bent mandrel rod which results in one side being a little high and the other being low. I have a new mandrel on the way. One of the pens is situated just right and really shows the flaw.
