This is made of some beautiful osage orange, sanded to 12K MM, automotive lacguer, hut Crystal Coat, and TSW. The shine doesn't really show up in this picture.

I like the shape and color. Do you think that the lacquer will keep the osage from "browning out" as it ages?

Bill, I really doubt if the lacquer will stop or slow the color change. I have some pens I made, and I carry one, and they haven't changed much, if any at all, but I don't think the lacquer has anything to do with it.
