Well these are the first couple of pens in over 2 years I still have not been able to take a photo worth anything so I scanned these. The scan did not turn out the best either.

I really like that swirl-not blotchy. That would be a keeper. My 2 cents, the pic is good enough. It shows what you wanted it to show. I feel there's sometimes too much emphasis on an exact photo then on the item. We're turners & love to spend our time on turning & don't have time to learn the art of photography. Anyway, if Woodcraft, for instance, had 4 of those blanks on the rack--I'd have 4 in my shop.

I agree on the blanks, they are super, I can smell the resin from here, Oh no wait I forgot I just cast nearly a half gallon this afternoon, I hope mine look half as good as yours do[B)][B)][B)][B)][B)][B)]
