I purchased a lot of Slim-line kits to practice my fit and finish. Still nothing worthy of say...a Slim-line contest:biggrin: but they are getting back to where I'm at least happy with the way they are coming out. Any commentary is welcome of course. On a side note...can anyone identify the wood in the light yellow pen with black grain? I originally thought it was a variant of Zebrawood, but I don't think the grain is straight enough. Thanks for looking!

Trey the pens look good. Give us bigger pictures next time :)

I am going to agree with BSea just on principle! He has forgotten more than I will ever know about wood!

I would agree with BSea, it really looks like spalted tamarind...do you recall an citrusy (sp?) aroma when turning it?
