First pen turning from surgery

Well summer is almost finish with Labor day weekend coming up This weekend was the first time I did any turning still my surgery in July. There two antler pens.

My son brought home some antlers from an Native American in upper California. Most likely mule deer. Had no problems with the grip of the tools !!

Bill, glad you getting back to it after surgery, they look like thay hav character, listen, resize the pictures to a larger size and add them to a reply , I think we all will appreciate them a bit more. Amos
