Hi all,
After joining and seeing the nice pens all of you have made, I've been reluctant to post any of my own. This is the first I feel good enough about to post. It is a gold and gunmetal Cigar pen with a Marinara Rhino pen blank. This is one of my first acrylics, but I can tell how well these pen blanks turn, very easy. Also, this is the first pen that I have turned between centers. I crafted the dead center and bushings myself using a metal lathe, and undersized the bushings so I relied on calipers alone for the sizing. I feel this gave a really good custom fit to the pen, with the components matching up well. Please let me know what you think, I'm very open to critiques. Thanks for looking.
