Here is my first pen off my new lathe a Rikon 70-220VSR. A gun metal slimline dressed in Corian. I went back to my pen mandrel since I have to idea were my slimline bushings went to. All C & C are welcome

Where do you get Corian stock big enough for pens? All I can get round here is just under half inch thick...

Glue!!!

You can either try to match (hide) the glue-line, or accetuate the glue-line (with inlays, pick-guard, laminates, metal inlays, etc...).

Me..., I stink at corian gluelines for matching, so I prefer to accentuate the division. This does make it obvious, but also matching...

I have seen 3/4 Corian and hard surface material on flea-bay and Craigslist many times. In fact that's where I found a local guy who sold me enough to last me a while. Nice stuff and he dabbles in turning so its already cut to pen blanks.
