I got the PC blanks from Wooden Affairs. They turned like a dream with a skew and a lite touch. Finished with CA and polished using compounds and Plastx.

I have only turned three wood pens since February when I started working with PC. I love the stuff.

I really like the blue one! The gray one looks like the blue spots are not intended - they take away from its looks.

The blue was intentionally unintended. It is scrap clay that was put in the mix on purpose but the location is pretty much random.

To be very honest, I like the grey blank a little more because of the spots of contrasting color. It adds a little zing to it. But, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
