First Patriot

This is my first pen using a Patriot kit. The kit is on Spalted Tamarind. I didn't press the clip down quite well enough and I learned that the press tool for long clickers works pretty well to tighten the Patriot clips down further if need be.

Looks like you did a pretty nice job on this pen. I haven't personally used that wood before, but it looks like a cool blank. The finish looks nice as well. I like that you used a black kit on this pen.

Nice work. I have had some issues with loose clips and even had one break off on my favorite....Good choice on the color of the hardware.
