Finally broke into the pen selling business. One of the ladies at the vet's office saw my wife's bullet/antler pen and wanted to buy one. So I went along with a collection of some of the pens I had made to let her and the rest of the crew look at.
She bought a bullet/mesquite Slim and another lady bought a black T/N mesquite Slim.
While they were looking those over, the vet came out and started gawking at a .50 cal that I just stuck in as an example. Apparently, he liked it a lot as he wanted that one and four more just like it. He didn't care what kind of wood or finish and he wanted the cases uncoated so as to oxidize with use.
I went home and turned all of the kits I had and I'll let him make his choice tomorrow.
They are, l to r: Claro Walnut, Cocobolo, Leather, Buffalo Horn, Cocobolo, Bocote, Cocobolo, Claro Walnut. The vet saw the Bocote as the example.
