I'm pretty happy with it, the shape came out pretty good, the joints are tight, and I'm getting the finish down. It's Sapele wood, has great chatoyance (my word of the day, thanks to Talbot). Some of the advice that I go to my post on the finishing forum was a big help, but as you can see, I've still got a way to go on the whole sanding thing apparently. Funny how all that CA acts as a magnifying glass.

Anyway, thought I'd share,

Steve

Steve, that's a pretty piece of Sapele, not a wood I particularly find attractive, but yours is very nice, how was it cut, cross cut or angle cut? nice job for your first non slimeline <big grin>

Nice pen Steve . Keep at it . Practice is what it takes . I still see scratches in MY pens . You'll get there , and I hope I will too . Good work on the pen .
