This is my first attempt at metal (brass) inlay. It's on a Wallstreet II using a blank from Exoticblanks. The hardest part was finishing since the PR was softer than the brass, I kept getting "metal ridges".

Comments/suggestions welcom.

Very nice! I like the little bit of depth you get with the clearer areas of PR.
How did you cut the PR? Bandsaw? I've tried with a scroll saw and it basically melts.

I built a jig for my scroll saw. It held the blank and allowed me to rotate the blank through the saw.

No melting, I used a new (sharp) blade and cut pretty fast. I don't know the TPI, but it was a more coarse blade so it took bigger bites with each stroke. That might have helped. I have to give most of the credit to Exoticblanks; I've had great luck with their blanks.
