Well, I bit the bullet and bought an M3 blank. I figured with the cost of the blank, I should put it on a nice kit, so I chose to put it on a Triton. I think it is definitely a classy pen, but a tad on the pricey side to make. Like I've seen someone else say, it doesn't look quite like solid metal, but it doesn't look like metallic acrylic either. I didn't bother to buy the special polish for it, so I used white compound on a buffing wheel and then some blue paste metal polish. I think it came out pretty well! Enjoy!

Thanks for the compliments!

As for the polish, I got the pen and blank from a local Woodcraft. I like the guys there and like to support their shop. The down side is that the polish is sold separately. I'm ok with that since I have some metal polishing materials already.
