First attempts turning blue lapis trustone. Very hard to work for me at least[B)], unlike other trustone I've tried. Comments, critiques more than acceptable.

Nice job Rob, I like both equally. I've made a SL with the same Blue Lapis TS and also found that it seemed much harder that other TS I've done.
I feel better now I know it wasn't just me. [:D]

I think there is a general consensus that the Blue Lapis is probably the hardest of the Trustone to turn. But it looks SOOOOO good when finished.

Excellent job on those 2 Rob.

Hi Rb,

That is a very handsome looking pen well done![8D]

I too have to say that blue lapis is easily the hardest of the Tru Stones to turn in my experience, but the result is I can never keep one in my pen tray at shows, they sell really well..

Beautiful pen. I've turned several other Tru Stone pens but not the Blue Lapis. Gotta try it even after reading alxe24's post about how hard it is.

Rob

You did a great job on the pens. The finish looks perfect. Turning that blank on a jr gent I know took awhile. Again great job.
