After 7 years of turning pens, I finally found time to play with kitless. Thanks to Dennis (Soligen) for allowing me to visit his shop and see his process, it was invaluable.
I say plus because the cap is closed end but I threaded a post to hold the clip ring and finial and added an accent ring near the nib (I have no use for a carrying pen without a clip). This was my third attemt after completing two. One got grabbed by the buffing weel, tossed to the floor and broke in half, the other had the threads sheer off while test fitting.
The material is PSI aquapearl jet black (AQP14X).

Happen to have a photo showing off the top of the cap? Is there a 'bump' on it?

Well done doing the black! Hard to get that color right.....well, at least for me.
