This is a blank I got from Scott last week and could not wait to turn it. Man this is some dense stuff., but the finished product cannot be argued with. It is much more shiny than a typical acrylic, so much so I think I need to diffuse the lights to reduce the glare.

Nice, kinda reminds me of crushed velvet blanks. Probably looks a little different in person.

Like the shape, looks like one of your cigars shrunk.

It looks a lot like the crushed velvet blanks, but it has a lot more going on under the surface that the camera will not pick up. As for the shape, it took me a little while to get the profile to blend with the nib and flow nicely. It gives the pen the feel of a large pen in a small package.

Looks great. I hope you post picks of the other stuff you got.

I need to finish some pens that I have started with the Italian stuff as well.

Looks a breath's worth overturned, but you may have been going for exactly that.

Bring it to BBvile so I can see the resin.
