First homemade center band

I wanted to try a custom made center band, and this blank was looking mighty fine, so i decided it was time!

"Ron's Rounds" cactus blank, white paint.

The "flaw" on the bottom of the pen in the closeup is a weird light situation. There is no flaw in the pen (at least not in that spot!:biggrin

That came out great. I like the cactus. I'm saving my round "Ron's" blank for a "special" pen. Just haven't found it yet...:biggrin:

I would of never guessed PR. Really looks like wood.

If you saw it in person you would know. It is actually antique gold with some slight black streaks through it. I thought it matched the blank and components nicely. My picture taking stinks, but the pen turned out pretty darn nice!
