Got a pressure pot and 200 lb hunk of cherry and so far made these.

Those pens are beautiful !!!! . I love the colors !!!

How come one of them does not have a center band ? . What kit is that ?

Nice choice of color for the resin. Looks like you have a lifetime supply of cherry!

Yes for pens. I think if a large bowl turner saw these they would faint thinking I was going to cut this up into 3/4" square by 5" bowl blanks but its not really a burl. Its kind of like growths that run parallel to the branch. also its been sitting there for maybe 25 years and rotted out inside. I'll be lucky to get some pepper mill blanks out this, but just like this I'll have tons of scraps.

It also looked like I didn't mix the color into the Alumilite very well which added a nice swirl.

Going to get some Florescent green dye next.
