I had a little bit of free time between turning straight barreled pen and pencil sets (15 sets done, 13 to go) and turned my first gentleman's pen. Man, this thing is a monster. Spalted maple that I bought here on the forum with a titanium kit. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful wood and nice picture. I cut several spalted maple blanks and put them in plastic bags back in Jan. They have continued to spalt and I just took them out of the bags the other day to start drying. I hope they look as good as yours when I get around to turning them. Thanks for sharing.
