First fountain pen

I made this pink acrylic pen for a friend to give to his wife for Valentine's day. She was surprised and thrilled.

I have another made the same day using deep red and black swirled acrylic... haven't made a photo of it yet.

A few months ago, I made a pink slimline for my niece (who adorns herself with pink things and skulls).

On New Years day, my friend saw that pen and causually remarked that she would love a pink fountain pen. I then conspired with her husband so he could give it as a gift for Valentines day. She was totally surprised, and he scored big husband points <vbg>

By the way, the blank was turned using an Easy Wood Tools carbide chisel... works great on acrylics. Went straight from chisel to MicroMesh finishing.
