First Fountain Pen

My first fountain pen... a 10K Executive Kit from CSU... writes beautifully....
Wood is some of that bigleaf maple burl I got on eBay as a small bowl blank.. sanded to 800 then CA and sanded to 12000 and final finish of President's Choice, buffed to a high gloss and some Renaissance Wax...
The wood it is resting on is some of the curly maple that Bill B is now selling.. if you have not gotten any of this stuff, hurry, I doubt it is going to last long... this piece is what he calls his caramel curly maple...

Wow Tom, thats nice as usual.

I've been done with the flu or something and just starting to get around again, thats why I havn't been posting lately. I can't wait to get back in my shop. There are some nasty bugs going around, both to your personal health and your computers. I got hit about a week ago by both bugs, flu and computer. Two doctors bills[V]

Great looking pen Tom I have tried a couple myselfe and look forward to making more. Looks like I need to update my finish first as mine did'nt look near that good.
