first experiment with brass

This is my first time using brass as an insert. The pen is an Atlas with unknown wood. Not sure I like using the brass. But I am satisfied with the way it turned out.

The black outline was a mistake, but I kind of like it. The brass was just a tad thin in the kerf, so I colored the epoxy. Sometimes those things work out and sometime they don't. I like it this time. And yes Tim, I used some of Skips instructions.

Scotty, I would say that experiment was a success. Coloring the epoxy black around the brass was a great idea.
