great looking desk set,really like the trails in the holder,mesquite is a great wood to work with on the lathe or in the pit.

Looks very well done, however, there doesn't seem to be much point to the threads on the top end, nobody would screw the base onto them and write like that. Try it with a non posting, or closed end kit.

Great job.........I really like that mesquite.I asked a friend to bring me some back on his trip to Texas,he brought me a stick of firewood. I got 31 blanks from it.:biggrin:
