Hi Folks,

I took a piece of Corian that I got from Bev and the turning tools I bought from Jeff (Thanks guys) and turned my first Corian Pencil. I actually had to save this project because I had never drilled corian before and had a blowout. I glued it back together and the crack was not noticible unless you knew where to look. I hid it up under the clip and even the folks that I told where the defect was were not able to find it.

Not bad for a first try, but I can do better and will.

Very nice pen Mudder. If you want some corian, just let me know. I have a bunch I can spare and actually some very rare AVonite patterns from Canada.

Chris

Here is a Christmas pen I made.....

Chris, I need some red Corian or Avonite. I get Corian off an Installer here in Anchorage. No red available. I've got some 1/4" and 1/2". The 1/4" is almost all Ivory colored. Have many colors in the 1/2". A lot of high end homes are being built, $300K and up. All get Corian... Many scraps...
