A couple of pens from my first commission. Sorry if the photos are not up to the standard here but they were done very quickly with my phone.
C and C welcome as I am still learning. Names were also added to the pens in another first for me by transfers after 10 coats of thin CA were applied and polished followed by 10 more coats before final polishing.
- Lever action is Spotted Gum (Corymbia maculata)
- Bolt Action is spalted Pink Almond (Alphitonia petriei)

Cheers, Ian

Lovey pens, how do you make / where do you get the transfers from?

There is a clear or white transfer paper available, I got mine on flea bay.
A4 sheets for either laser or inkjet are pretty cheap. I cut mine up into 6x4 pieces to save wasting full sheets. The most important part is that you need to fix the ink if you use inkjet. Laser is ok but inkjet needs a cot of clear lacquer to st it bleeding off.
There is a how to here if you want the full info on the method.

Excellent Pens, Ian.
Magnificent Spalted Pink Almond Blank.
Great Piece of Spotted Gum.
Excellent work on the Water Slide Decals,
For my Taste I would have liked the profile of the Blanks, taken down to Match the Hardware, But that is just my Personal Taste.
Congratulations, on the Commission.
Brian.
