First and maybe last closed end, Jr Gent. Steep learning curve. If I were asked today, I would say this is my last time doing a closed end. Not enough planning in the beginning made things difficult. Had to re-do the shape and finish several times. I think I need to invest in a closed end mandrel to ease the effort. What I don't like is the weight. The closed end part of the pen seems too light. Any tricks out there to make closed end pens more balanced? Thanks, Mike

Great looking pen and the finish is indeed wonderful. You have now crossed the greatest hurdle. Actually designing and building the pen. Each one will stretch your abilities and ease of making one. Congrats on the first step, Im sure there will be more.
