This is my first closed end Baron. Sterling silver kit using amboyna burl and of course Fangar's pin chuck. The pin chuck worked great and made it fairly easy to turn.

Very nice shape. I really enjoy making closed end Barons, but I'm beginning to wonder what to do with all those excess pieces.

Very nice work. Did you reference several Biblical passages to help??? (note background for those who have no idea what I am talking about)

Would like to give these a try but don'T have a drill chuck for my lathe. I'll have to get with Fanger when I do. But, you have captured a beautiful piece. what finish did you use?
