I wanted to try my hand at turning a clipless pen. I also tried leaving a matte finish on the blank. I used the other parts from a Virage rollerball kit. Yes, it definitely is not perfect. I had to hand sand the cap to an extent. The body is not perfect either. This was an experimental pen. I thought it would be a nice pen to tote around in my pocket. Oddly enough, my little cousin got attached to it and begged me for it until I gave in. Let me know what you think!

Gee, I trust you have got Large and Deep Pockets, if you intended to carry the Pen around.
As you have mentioned Your Cousin has claimed it, so that takes care of your Pockets.
And also, that it was an Experimental Pen.
Therefore I will not comment on the Pen, other than of it's size.

I like that blank and its matte finish. What's it called and where did you get it?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and apparently you struck a chord with your cousin. I personally like a slimmer pen more closely proportioned to the pen kit.
