Made the civil war pen today for my nephew. He is 12 years old and loves reading about the civil war. CA finish on a pine blank that I salvaged from a late 1800's church door frame. Little dumpster diving never hurt anyone right? It does have 2 coats of Behlen wood turners finish to add a little character. Fun way to spend a Saturday!

Great Pen Rick,
Great source of special and sometimes unusual pieces of timber, suitable in size for Pens.
Excellent Fit and Superb Finish.
He will be very pleased to receive this Pen from you.
Congratulations,
Brian.
