First Cigar

Give me your best shot. Hopefully I did ok. Used a copper kit wrapped in Hairy Oak. First time using White Diamond and Ren Wax.

Not a thing wrong with that. What's the finish under the WD & Ren, anything?

CA/BLA and about 2 hours of sanding and still had some faint scratches in it, lol

Great looking pen, Rob! Did you like the cigar kit? It's my favorite to build, it just feels so solid and looks great!

I love the hairy oak. Buffing is great, isn't it?

I think I like the cigar kit but have to try it more to see. I was surprised at how heavy it was.[:0] Gonna try it for a week and see if I like it. As for the buffing, to be honest, I didn't notice a difference. Of course, I am using only one wheel with just White Diamond.

Haven't tried corncobs yet, still trying to figure out wood, lol.
