Here is my first attempt at a cigar kit. It's cocobolo with a lacquer finish. The lighting doesn't show the finish very good. I've gotten a light cube but haven't gotten my lighting correct. Comments welcome good or bad.

Good eyes Dave. I hadn't noticed that before but I did slightly overturn it near the nib. Thanks for spotting that.

Beautiful wood....Very nice pen.....Cigars are one of the best sellers I found, easy and fun to turn, and offer a classy pen at a reasonable price....

One tip to work a B2B without overturning is to get a block of wood with some sandpaper on it. Cut them both to be about the lenght of the blank half. When you get close to being B2B, lay the block and paper against the blank. You'll see a flurry of sanding happening on the high spots. If you're real close, just sand to final form. Make sure to cross sand after that!
