Really, it's the first one made. I went by the tutorial by Larry Wirt (a.k.a. ribanett) titled "6 Segment Knot Pen". Thanks Larry! Bought a Nobex saw, liked the idea of not getting my fingers close to a spinning blade! Then I made the jig, thought about how each step would go and started sawing.

The hole drilled was just enough off center that a couple of the segments don't touch. Not sure how that happened. Maybe my vise wasn't exactly centered or I didn't get the blank perfectly round after gluing each segment. It looked centered when I drilled it, but was off a little when I took it out of the vise.
