I made this pen about a month ago. It was actually my first pen to include a Celtic Knot. I couldn't just stop at two segments, I had to do four. I had some figured Beeswing Narra bottle stopper blanks that I cut the blanks from. The knot is Padauk. The pen shimmers with a deep iridescent shine when tilted in the light. I think the satin gold kit compliments it well. Comments please...

Nice work Tim. Your knots sure line up better than my first try at a celtic knot. If I might make a suggestion, I find the thinner knots look a bit more elegant. You can pick up a Freud Diablo blade for a circular saw from one of the big box stores. They are about $15 or so. The kerf on those saws is 1/16" and you will be able to make a thinner segment with that. The saws cut very nice as well.
