I'm still not sure if it's the way I want to go, but I had to try. I like what I want to do, I just don't like the end results, but this is my first one....it is a clear with brass curl's from the brass casings when I make bullet pens. I never toss the shavings. so, there are bubbles, air pockets, chips and not enough brass. what do you think?

It is hard to tell from your photo, did you polish your brass tubes? How would it have look it you would have painted the inside of your blank gold after you drilled your hole? Just some more ideas to throw out there, nice work on your pen.[^]

Nice job Laurie! Great idea. I like the way it turned out, sometimes less is more. Keep up the great work, and thanks for sharing it with us.
