I never thought that much of these, then decided to give one a try. Now I quite like it, similar heft and feel to the Sierra Vista. I think they are ideally suited to acrylic blanks, being a less traditional shape and all.

Thanks for the kind comments. The pen is held akimbo by a paper clip, which is superglued to the plywood board under the cloth backdrop. A little trick I discovered over in the photo forum. One thing though, if you don't sharpen the point of the wire that's sticking up, it will tend to work mischief on the cloth as you are poking it through. You have to remove the ink cartridge before placing the pen on the wire, then it's helpful if you remember to replace it when you're done.:D
