First Bullet Nib Pen

I have been wanting to try my hand at drilling some real bullets for nibs. So a couple of weeks ago my brother in law gave me some 270 cal. casings and a few bullets also. So i set up my lathe and here is the results. A 270 caliber rifle casing pen with the real bullet for the nib and antler on top. This will not be my last one. It was a lot of fun to do. LOOKS GREAT, Keith I went and got me a lathe but have not tried the nib's yet, but plan to.

Good job! One nit, the bullet looks like it's seated too deep. The Cartridge Overall Length (COAL) for 270 Win caliber should be somewhere around 3.20 inches.
