A Classic FP from purple/black acrylic. I forgot to paint the tubes on this one. Do most paint the tube or inside of the blank? what do you paint with?

This is "wild cherry" On both slimlines I noticed the nib was not matching. I looked at the bushing (I thought I cleaned) and found it to have a nice layer of CA. Will go back and clean up the nibs to make them match.

Thanks Jim,
I know some dont like doing slimlines. I like them for "playing" with shapes. I feel I can get a little wilder with them then a higher dollar kit.

Very nice Tom.
I wish I could help you with the answer to your question about painting the tubes.
I'm struggling with that one also. I've tried painting tubes, and the inside of the Lucite I have been working with. And i'm still having problems with it. Maybe I need a different paint...I don't know.
Good Luck

Painting tubes isn't one of my favorite things to do. But, all I do is use a cheap can of spray paint (like from Fred's for a buck a can) then I set up a small cardboard box with some hangars running across the top (with the blanks slipped over the hangers). Then I spray paint away. I twirl the blanks a little to get good coverage.
Give em time to dry really good.
That's it!
