First Baron

A friend in Canada sent me two SS Baron kits. This one I just finished tonight. The wood is Red Mallee. Am looking forward to working on the other one.

The finish is first a clear wood filler and sealer fallowed by TRU OIL and CA glue, three coats, then at3,500 rpm buffed with a liquid polishing compound on a piece of leather. and last two coats of gun stock wax also applied at 3,500 rpm. All made by www.birchwoodlaboratories.com and found at good sports stores.
