This is my first Baron made with a piece of eye candy curly koa from that great supplier BB. I was not real fond of the plastic couplers, they seem a little weak to me.

Very nice looking pen Sam, The only way to get a better thread , is to thread your own or maybe somebody will do an aluminum coupler someday, but I dought it.
We allready complain at the price of "componets" [:D]

Good looking Pen Sam---really like the way your Renaissance Wax finish came out. The Baron is my high end pen kit so you know I am happy with it.[8D]

I have made several of the Baron pens and so far have found that the coplers are much stronger that they appear. I have been carrying the first one I made for severl months and have not had any problems at all.
Also on your pen....Fantastic. Love that curly Koa, the finish and fit look great.
