Here is my first Baron (2 views same pen, different lighting)... I LOVE THIS KIT...
Made from a piece of the curly koa I got in the mail today...
This kit is great and sooooo easy to make....
This one is mine... it feels so nice in the hand...
Unfortunately the picture does not do the chatoyance of the wood justice... this sucker looks soooooo deep...

Beautiful pen, Tom (in Md)! By the way, chatoyance will never show up in a photograph. To see chatoyance you must have the perspective of multiple angles. We see it 1) because we have stereoscopic vision, and 2) because we turn the pen to get the different views.

Very fine looking pen Tom, you did a great job and the wood is outstanding.
My soul has chatoyance you can't see as well.
