A friend of mine who's working in the kitchen retail give me a lot of Corian samples. The samples mesures about 100 x 100 x 12 mm, not really thick enough for turning Sierra's but they are just fine for Slimline pens.

In the joined pic you can see the 14 pens that i just realize.

I found that Corian is'nt difficult to turn and it becomes a nice shine, i'm happy with the result and they made good stuff for the next christmas craft shows.

Hope you like them,

Very well done. It is also possible to glue Corian together to turn larger items.

Yes. There is a process to do that. I haven't done it. But you need to glue the right two sides together to get the good side to come out on both sides and you need to sand the two glue side to get good and flat. There are some members here that I have seen that do it, and they make real fine pens amongst other stuff.

Man, I love the blue & green pens. I wouldn't mind having kitchen counters out of either color of that Corian. Well, maybe not kitchen counters, but certainly laundry room counters. Very nice pens, by the way.

I like Corian pens too, and you've got some lovely colours there! It's also nice to see slim Slimlines btw. All too often they are turned so oversized that they look too wasp waisted for my tastes .....
