First attempt closed end pen

This is my first attempt at a closed end pen and this type of segmenting. (Black walnut with aluminum on a Jr. Gent.)

The segmenting and the pen both need work but that was the point of this practice. I don't have a chuck.....yet...(as I wink at the LOML) so this was done on a basic mandrel and inspiration from the fine folks here.

Thanks. That one is much worthy of the job done, shows form and affection of the task. What I was speaking of is Rule of thirds not to be confused with Radial Distortion
