This was my first antler...and boy it was not the most pleasant of smells...luckily I turned a figured walnut following this to cancel out the odor. Both were purchased from Victor in a short box a while back... He has awesome stock and great prices. Thanks for viewing

That's nice and different in that style!! I totaly understand the smell is nasty!!! Very bad! I envy with the upmost respect all that do them after my first one a few weeks ago. Congrats on a job well done!

The smell lessens as the antler ages. My first was really bad, then I did some quite a while later and the smell wasn't bad at all.

Nice pen BTW.
