First Amboyna Gent

Made this guys the other day and wanted to share the experience. Lovely wood to turn, required no sanding prior to CA application. The cap blew out from someone being a little too impatient maybe? It was such a large piece i figured I would be able to find and and glue it back in place. That wasnt the case, sure ill find it someday, so I filled in with some brass key shavings I had on hand. Not sure that was the right choice, but it seems to be growing on me. Made this for my father just because, and he will receive it today. Rhodium jr gent from smitty, with lets say 10 medium ca coats, MM, Novus 2, and PlastX. C&C Welcome!

I hear you, the next one is mine for sure! Just finished the lower barrel, and the cap will have to wait till the A.M.
