This is my first acrylic turn, I guess now I'll have to start making my own PR this is a Xiamaien Rizheng blank from woodnwhimsies.

Great first up acrylic Ken![:)][:)] That would also look goog in gold.
How do you find the quality of those kits from Rhizheng? They have been reccomended to me but I've done nothing about them yet.

I've made about 50 pens so far, and the Rizheng kits are
all I've used to date, I have only had one problem and that was a refill that went dry too fast. I get all my pen kits from woodnwhimsies, I can't afford to order direct from China, same with the two acrylics I did today.
For some reason it's not as brittle as the clear acrylic rod I use at work occasionally .

Thanks Louis,I wet sanded through 2000 then used a jewelry polishing compound called Zam, it's Chrome Oxide and does a great job on anything softer than 5.5 MOH, on my buffer white diamond would eat through most finishes[:eek:)]
