first 3 wood pens by emmwittle

Hello I just thought I'd share the first 3 wood pens my girlfriend Emma (emmwittle here on IAP) has ever made
up till now she had only turned our polyester resin blanks and a few acrylic acetate blanks
these were also her first CA finishes
shown in order from 1st to most recent made

aeromatic (sp?) knotty cedar

lace redwood burl from jmhoff10500

and purpleheart

haha ya i think i need her to start telling me how to do the finish lol. she really seems to enjoy making these, she says making wood pens is easier even with a CA finish

Now you did it! Never, NEVER, NEVER teach a woman, especially your favorite woman, how to play with your toys. She'll never give them back!:frown: Now you have to go out and buy a new lathe.:biggrin:
She does some mighty fine work. If she is that good with the CA, she can pay for the new lathe giving lessons!:wink:
