While on a family vacation a couple months ago, we stopped at a hardwood supplier in Independence, MO and I noticed they had Yunstone pen blanks at a lower price than I'd seen them anywhere online, so I picked up a few to try.
Turned my first one of them on Saturday and it became my first completed pen of 2016. This was a hard turn, but it machined well and was well worth the extra time. I'm very pleased with how this pen turned out.
Red & White Jasper Yunstone, polished to 12000 Micro-Mesh (but ended up still being a stain look, which I really like)
