What do you mean it "came out of your closet"? Do you have a method for binding cloth into turning blanks? I read your postings with Elody but didn't get that this was a homemade product.

Any information you can provide would be appreciated.

Tip (and anyone who's intersted)
Read these threads,I'll get back to you.

"I read a question this morning posted by a member that caused me to yank the little light bulb in my head, going to get started on it today.
It may or may not work, but the idea came from a member who at this point helped get an idea and the question posted was looking for an answer to solve their problem and the replies to that question actually have nothing (or very little) to do with my idea.
So you see even a question provides information."

Hmmmm,

You glued up an old pair of jeans and did a 400 coat CA finish? [}:)]
Whatever it is, I'll say it is one fine looking pen.

Not 400 but it was less than my first corn cob.
I'm not sure you have it figured out yet.

I don't have it figured out but it sure does look good.

I must spend more time perfecting my CA finish. (learning to do it right) I have enough CA to last me a while. Think it's time to start experimenting. Any tips you can give? A point in the right direction?

Should have figured you'd get it,[:(]
Sure didn't cost $9.75[:D]
No mylands, the thing was just about pure CA when I finished,Just CA And PC

Not sure I understand your reply D.C>
It might be possible that you you don't have the method down exactly.
The way I made the blanks could have been done in anyones "shop"
or townhouse dining room(provided you put a little wax paper down)
When you said "stabilize",I didn't put the blanks in the vacuum with my "Solution".I'm not sure it could be done that way, acetone in the solution would dissolve the glue, tubes already in the denim.
Tubes, strips of cloth, thick and thin CA glue, accelerant, that's it,
