Thanks Chuck

No problem, But one must be careful with those classic prkers to get lower barrel to fit the cap,

I see you've worked with classics yourself.

I'd like to make a one piece pen myself some day.

Keep spinnin'

Nice work, Paul!!

Hard to go back to the duplicator??

I made 2 pens on mine, then put it in storage-hand-turning was SOOOO much more satisfying!

Keep up the good work.

Thanks Ed and Johnny

No, I am still using the duplicator, I leave the part that I am going to customize just under round. Then I turn the rest of the barrel down to a 64th over, save on sandpaper with my carbide cutterhead. I know I'm cheating, but I have'nt learned to sharpen chisels yet. I have a slow wet honing wheel but it needs reconditioning.

Hopefully before to long I will "join the club" and take my dupicator off. To tell you the truth those chisels scare me!

Thanks Fleabit [:)]

I need to make some of those rifle cartridge/antler pens for my brothers. And they would sell real good up here in the northwoods. I hope you wouldn't mind if I stole your design,

And I intend to git me some of dem dere baron kits.
