This next one is a blank I got from Mesquiteman a while back with some black Allumilite to repair a crack.

They're both very nice. I've got a bunch of Texas Ebony and am learnin' how nice it
turns. Polishes up beautifully. Hope to finish mine in a day or three.

Thanks all for the comments.

Curtis, thanks for reminding me what the blank was and thanks again for the blank.

Gary, just be careful when drilling the Texas Ebony, you want to cut the blank oversize, drill the hole "ALMOST" all the way through and then cut off the bottom slice to reveal the hole. If you drill all the way through the blank may crack when the bit breaks through (DAMHIKT)
